NL246 - SAE100R5 DOT Blue High Temp Hydraulic

Blue textile covered SAE100R5 hose used for high temperature hydraulic oil, water, gasoline, diesel, or various coolants up to 149°C/300°F or for air up to +82°C/180°F. The external fabric braided cover permits heat loss, but it is typically not designed to withstand abrasion. NL246 meets SAE 100R5 and SAE J1402 Type 2 for hydraulic service in all sizes. Meets the requirements of DOT/FMVSS 106 Type 2. Also approved by AAMVA for air brake service. USCG Approved when used with MSHA-approved sleeve.

Temperature Range: -40°C (-40°F) to +150°C (302°F)

Tube: Black seamless, oil & heat resistant Nitrile (NBR).

Cover: Blue, oil resistant polyester braid impregnated with Neoprene (CR).

Reinforcement: One high tensile steel wire braid over one polyester braid.
